Policy Dialogues Notices
The current Sapes Trust Policy Dialogue Forum programme is now six years old, beginning as it did in 2010, and with a focus on the Global Political Agreement (GPA) Process; but not to the exclusion of other pertinent political and economic matters, in the context of such sub-regional, continental and global factors as impinge on the Zimbabwean situation. The Sapes Trust Policy Dialogue reflect the burning issues and subjects that are attendant, not only to the Zimbabwean situation but also the sub-region, the continent and the world at large. It aims to respond to events and issues as they occur or arise; and they are attended to in a non-partisan and professional manner as the Forum has always strived to do, as part of the mandate of the Sapes Trust which celebrates its 30th Anniversary in October 2017. The Sapes Trust Dialogue Forums runs, in line with our mission of developing and promoting national, sub-regional, regional and even international policy-making capacity; effective policy analysis and decision- making; and enhance equitable and sustainable development in Southern Africa. In every episode of the Forum, expert panelists on the issue under discussion are invited to present well researched and articulated papers; before which, a question and answer segment follows. The Sapes Trust Dialogue Forum are open to individuals, corporates, national institutions, government agencies, civil society, non-governmental organisations, international organisations, embassies and any other public or private entity that may be interested.
